As someone new to the Rochester area, finding a painting company I could fully trust with my 3,100-square-foot home was incredibly important and C&M Painting Finishing exceeded every expectation! The finished result was absolutely perfect, and their attention to detail was spectacular. I’m a perfectionist, so clean lines and precise work are especially important to me. C&M Painting delivered some of the best work I’ve ever hired, with crisp lines and flawless attention to detail. Chris and his team were thorough, precise, cautious, and exceptionally clean. They spent an impressive amount of time preparing and protecting every surface to ensure there were no scratches, dents, or damage. Chris is also one of the nicest people I’ve met since moving to Rochester. He was responsive at any time of day and leads an incredibly talented team. I truly would not have trusted anyone else with this project and cannot recommend C&M Painting Finishing highly enough! My home looks brand new.

Chris and his crew from C & M Painting Finishing did an amazing job for us painting our guest room and bathroom, and staining and painting our stair bannister. Estimates were very detailed with every step, clear, and quite reasonable! Painting was amazing, right down to small touch ups of the molding from previous paint jobs, and caulking and painting an old water leak in the bathroom ceiling at no extra charge! And that bannister! What a tough job, but Chris stuck it out, even late on an extra day to make sure it was perfect. Their attention to detail! Fantastic! And the cleanup! Like they were never there! It looks incredible! Best of all, they all are just plain incredibly nice guys! Easy to talk to, about anything. Thanks for a great job, and, I am already sending Chris and C & M another few jobs for us, for sure!

I admired the impressive level of excellence demonstrated in every part of the journey. The process was carried out with remarkable precision and thoughtful direction, making the overall experience both inspiring and memorable. The result was extraordinary and left me with lasting admiration.

We’ve worked with a LOT of contractors in the last 3 years (at least 7, off the top of my head). Chris and his crew were by far the cleanest, most conscientious we’ve had. Every day, upon completion, they cleaned up their workspace (in this case, most of the house), and left it like they were never even here. They also did exactly what they said they would do and were proactive in their communication if they had any questions. Chris was prompt in his responses and clear with all of our communications over email and text. The guys were courteous and professional on what was a pretty challenging job: They repaired lathe and plaster (heavily damaged by old wallpaper) in our dining room, foyer, hallways, stairwell, and another small room. They did all of the ceilings and trim (including crown moulding) in all of the rooms mentioned. They worked quickly and efficiently, and most importantly they know what they’re doing! We are very happy with the result, and will be hiring Chris and his team again for future projects. These guys are legit pros.

Chris and his team did a beautiful job on my kitchen cabinets. He told me he could cover the grains on my cabinets with a smooth factor feel to them, and he delivered exactly that. I am so happy with the my kitchen and how they were able to seal off the room so the sanding would not affect other areas of the house. He guys were so courteous and professional,, I would not hesitate to refer them to my friends. Thank you again for the great work !!

Very professional,polite &talented. Crew showed upon time and went right to work meticulously covering everything with plastic and taping all edges. The painting lines were sharp and coverage was great. When they finished cleaned up and put everything back the way it was. The job was a 2 story hallway, large bedroom & bathroom. 3 room colors 2 ceiling colors. They were done in 2 eight hour days. It would have taken me a month and wouldn't be any where as nice! I hired C&M to take over my living room project that another company had started and failed to complete. Chris and his team showed up when they promised and completed the job in a day and a half. Top-notch professionalism, great recommendations on materials and procedure, and very flexible about tweaking some things I asked for. I will definitely contract with them again.

Chris was so amazing. He was very professional and polite. His team was absolutely awesome. I had a living room with catherial ceilings and a 2 story foyer painted. These guys are the best. I will always be grateful for the wonderful service.

Working w/Chris and his team was great. Very professional from start to finish. And very easy to work with. They definitely paid attention to detail. Something others say but don’t actually do. They cleaned up after themselves but actually had minimal mess. Price was very reasonable. Everyone was on time and really worked well together.
